About me
Hi,
I’m Sue and welcome to my blog, Fotoracle!
I’m no prophet, but yet like most of us I do have a vision. My vision happens to pass through a camera lens.
I love arts, all kinds of art but unfortunately my only interaction with arts is as a spectator and appreciator. I have not been gifted with any kind of talent – can’t draw a proper house or dog, can’t make a round pot or anything else worth showing around, for that matter.
I have always had immense admiration for artists who are so gifted with some kind of talent; I believe it to be God’s gift to those. Well, I was given my own set of gifts and I am not complaining.
One day after having raised my two great kids, I realized I had some free time at hand and enlisted in a photography course. It kind of changed my self-esteem. I found out that I can actually create a “product” which is appreciated by people, at least some. Some is ok by me; I’m not into being the next Van Gogh.
Well, this is how I started photography. I finished my basic & advanced courses, bought myself a Canon SRL camera and ever since I have been schlepping it around as much as I can.
To my pleasant surprise, I have also had the time to travel around in the past couple of years so my work is quite diversified, although I noticed that the same subjects interest me no matter where I land on the globe.
I have dedicated a category for each of my photography “fetishes” and will share with you some of the pictures I have taken in the past few years.
I would love to receive some feedback on what you see, and they don’t all have to be “OMG that’s amazing!!”
And please feel free to download any pictures.
Enjoy…
